A brand new roof across three elevations: new felt, new battens, new tiles, a dry ridge system and new fascias, all fitted by our own team in Kingston upon Thames. Want the same on your home? Get a free written quote.
This Kingston upon Thames home needed more than a patch-up: the roof covering across three elevations had reached the point where replacement was the right call. Rather than laying new tiles over tired timber and worn underlay, we stripped the roof back and rebuilt every layer that matters.
That layered approach is what separates a proper re-roof from a cosmetic one. New underfelt gives the roof its second line of defence against wind-driven rain. New battens, fixed straight and to gauge, give every tile a sound, level fixing point; re-battening is what keeps the finished courses true for decades. A dry ridge system then mechanically fixes the ridge tiles instead of bedding them in mortar, so there is no mortar to crack, weather away and drop out. It also ventilates the ridge line, helping the roof space breathe. New fascias complete the roofline, giving the gutters a solid, rot-free fixing.
Taken on site by our own team, on the roof we built.

The tiles are the part you see. The layers underneath are what decide how long the roof lasts.
Fresh underfelt is the roof's second line of defence, and new battens fixed to gauge give every tile a sound, level fixing. It is the groundwork that keeps the courses true for decades.
Ridge tiles are mechanically clamped down instead of bedded in mortar. Nothing to crack or weather away, and the ridge line is ventilated so the roof space can breathe.
New fascias finish the roofline and give the rainwater goods a solid, rot-free fixing, so the whole edge of the roof is renewed, not just the covering.
