Clay and concrete tiled roofing across Windsor, Berkshire and South West London, from matching a single cracked tile to complete Redland re-roofs. Free written quotes on every job, backed by our company workmanship guarantee.
Most tiled roofs around Windsor, Berkshire and South West London carry one of two materials, and we install both:
Clay tiles are the traditional choice. The colour is fired right through the tile, so it never fades, and the warm tones suit Victorian and Edwardian streets in places like Richmond and Twickenham. Our recent Richmond re-roof used clay tiles over new felt and battens, finished with traditional lead flashing.
Concrete tiles, including the Redland range, deliver excellent weather performance for a lower cost per square metre, with a wide choice of profiles and colours. On our Surbiton re-roof we fitted Redland 49 tiles in a brown and red mix, a profile that has been protecting British homes for generations.
We bring samples to the survey so you can see both against your brickwork before anything is ordered, and the whole job is priced in a free written quote.

Tiles get the attention, but two hidden layers decide whether a tiled roof actually keeps water out:
On our Richmond clay tile job we stripped the roof right back and renewed both: new felt across every elevation, new treated battens gauged to the tile, then the clay tiles fitted over the top with lead flashings dressed at the junctions. The same job also included rebuilding a flat roof section, so the whole property was watertight in one visit.
If a roofer quotes you a re-tile without mentioning felt and battens, ask what happens to them. It is the difference between a new roof and an expensive tidy-up.
We look at three things before recommending anything, and you get the verdict in writing with photos.
A few cracked or slipped tiles on one elevation points to a repair. Failing tiles scattered across the whole roof points to a covering that has weathered out.
Sound felt means a repair will hold. Perished, torn felt means water will keep finding new ways in, and only a strip and re-felt fixes that.
If rolling repairs will cost more than a re-tile over the next few years, we say so. If a modest repair genuinely solves it, we say that instead.
