Some roofers push a full re-roof because it is the bigger invoice. Others patch a roof that is past saving and let you pay for the same leak twice. We do neither.
We recommend a repair when the fault is localised: a few slipped or cracked tiles, one failed flashing, a single ridge or valley problem, and the felt underneath is still sound. A well-executed repair on a sound roof can keep it going for years.
We recommend replacement when the felt has perished, tiles are failing right across the roof or you are paying for repairs season after season. At that point patching is throwing good money after bad, and we will show you the evidence with photos rather than ask you to take our word for it.
